Nice to meet you. I am Korean staff at Tokyo One Piece Tower, Sue.
Dear friends, how did you spend your New Year's holidays?
Many of you might have spent the time overseas.
I think when we visit foreign countries, we often face the difficulty of language that we don't understand.
My biggest problem I had when I first came to Japan was exactly that. I could not understand Japanese.
I don't understand what they say and I don't know how to explain when I'm in trouble!!
When you don't understand the language, you can't fully enjoy the moment.
When I first visited Tokyo One Piece Tower
before I became the staff at One Piece Tower,
I was really nervous.
So, I absolutely understand how all of you feel from overseas!
But not to worry! Not only those of you who love ONE PIECE, but also those who love theme parks can enjoy here at Tokyo One Piece Tower!
Why is that? I will explain the reason with my own experiences.
Worried if I can buy a ticket smoothly...
At that time, I didn't understand Japanese. Although I felt a huge language barrier,
I visited Tokyo One Piece Tower where my beloved world of ONE PIECE awaits with my Korean friend!
3Arriving at the entrance on the 3rd floor.
Believe it or not, it was written on the monitor above the ticket counter what kind of tickets there are in Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified Chinese&traditional Chinese) and Korean!
If you look up tIf you look at this monitor, you can buy your best tickets whether you want to enjoy only Tokyo One Piece Tower or go to Tokyo Tower Main Observatory as a set.
Just because you don’t understand Japanese, you won’t miss any useful information!
We thought about it for a few minutes, and we bought 1 Day Pass of Tokyo One Piece Tower!
When we bought the passport, the crew noticed that we are not from Japan, asked us where we are from, and handed us a guide map in Korean!
When you travel abroad, there are many manuals and guide maps in foreign languages, but they tend to be very simple.
However, the guide map of Tokyo One Piece Tower in foreign languages are the same content as the Japanese guide map, so it's very informative!
By the way, there are English and Chinese (simplified Chinese&traditional Chinese) aside from Korean.
I quickly got lost!
I excitedly entered the park... and the world of ONE PIECE unfolded itself!
After I and my friend enjoyed the 3rd floor, we were at lost.
When we looked around, we quickly find this sign!
Thanks to this sign board, we immediately knew that there are various attractions on the 4th and 5th floor!
There are a restaurant, a cafe, and merchandise shop on the 1st floor, and different attractions from the 3rd to 5th floor.
If you are unfamiliar with an indoor theme park, it might be a little puzzling.
When you got lost, look around you for a while. You will sure to find the sign board in multiple languages.
Can I enjoy the attractions without understanding Japanese?
There are themed attractions for each Straw Hat Crews' character at Tokyo One Piece Tower.
There are 10 attractions in total!!!
Can I really experience all of these attractions?
I was a little bit worried, but I wanted to enjoy them all as an ONE PIECE fan!! So, I gave it a try right away.
I could play most of the games without explanation, but Robin's attraction, "ROBIN'S FINDING PONEGLIFF" seemed a little difficult...
I don't understand the rules and there seems to be no one to explain the to us...
We were roaming around the attraction entrance, and something came into my view.
The illustration board of the attraction! They were written in multiple languages!
We could read it when we are waiting in the line, and we no longer had worries!
Of course, I enjoyed it 200% with my friend!
I looked for ancient characters from the 3r floor to the 4th floor with my DEN DEN MUSHI!
Did you find them all?
Can I enjoy other things, too even if I don't understand Japanese?
I enjoyed inside the park and the attractions without worries thanks to a guide board and illustration board!
Actually, Tokyo One Piece Tower is holding different seasonal events such as characters' birthday events.
I recommend this seasonal event! You will definitely enjoy something new!
By the way, at the moment, a real treasure hung event, "Treasure Hunting, The Adventure on Tongari Island" (until the end of February in 2017)!
It's limited time only, so sometimes you can't make it, but this real treasure hunt is held for 4 months (until the end of February in 2017), so visitors from overseas have a chance to participate!
The beginner's course of this real treasure hunt is offered in foreign languages as well (English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Korean)!!
What if I don't understand the rule even in the foreign language version...
I've never played this kind of event, so it might be difficult to understand...
Many of you may thing that way!
But rest assured!
At the time like that, please talk to the crew nearby.
They will find a crew who can speak English or your language.
The crews who can speak foreign languages have a language badge on them, so check the out.
Let's ask about events and anything you want to know about Tokyo One Piece Tower!!
Can I reenter the park??
After fully enjoying about three hours, we were starving!!
1I remembered that Sanji's ORESAMA Restaurant is on the 1st floor! We decided to go there!
The guide map said that we had to exit the park once to go to the restaurant.
I was worried that we may not be able to come back to the park once we left from the exit.
Then we found a guide about reentry at the exit!
I see! We understood how to reenter the park!
We can now relax at the restaurant on the 1st floor, come back to the park, and enjoy the rest of the day.
